Fireworks

We had a family reunion, we got to meet relatives that we have never met and to see relatives that we have not seen in 10 years. It was a great time. I only had my point and shoot with me and we had a beautiful fireworks display from the Naval Academy in Annapolis MD. So I tried a video and think it turned out surprise surprise. I only got the first few minutes before I ran out of room on the memory card.

Trying the bow tying technique

Jingle from AMR posted about a new technique to tie a bow -- using a fork. Well it worked pretty well but the bows were really small. So I thought for a minute and remembered this really funky comb I had and did not use... and it worked I could make BIGGER bows... The little pink one is done with the fork. The bigger brown is done using the comb.

starting out

This is my first BLOG. Not quite sure what I am going to write or post about but I figured I would wing it for awhile and see if this blogging thing grows on me. So I just set up the basic settings, now to figure out how to design a header and add some pictures.But right now I need to go pull weeds. We had torrential rains last night so I hoping they pull easier than yesterday...LOL
